my 1999 ranger project! ideas?

Well for my senior project at school i took my old 1999 ranger and lifted it 5.5 inches with a fabtech lift with 33x12.50 tires. any ideas of improving power on my engine and drive train? im already gonna put a lower gear in it. just need some engine improvements. any help is appreciated!

haha ive considered it alot, but i doubt i have enough money to get all the stuff to do that =/

not sure of any cheap mods. to do but I'm new to RBV's so maybe someone else will pop in.

well, you could turbo it, but that would mean you need to rebuild the motor because the pistons won't be able to take the punishment of the turbo, otherwise I can't really think of anything else

oh come on now i like those rims lol. and yeah ima be puttin a new gear in soon. dang this sucks. theres mods for the other 4 cylinders but when you hit the lima their aint shit. no headers no nothing ha. dang well i guess ill save and do the v8 drop or throw in a small diesel.
