The main reason for me coming to own a Ranger is due to the fact my good friend has a 1994 4x4 Ranger. I have driven his truck plenty of times and just fallen in love with the way they ride. I used to own a 2001 Mustang Bullitt, but due to financial problems I couldn't afford to fix everything that was wrong with it. So I had sold it and bought a gas saver/insurance saver for a temporary car, a Honda Civic hatch. After 5 months and alot of looking around and offers for my Honda, I was offered a 1998 Ford Ranger Stepside 4x4. I traded my Honda for the truck and immediately fell in love, and it grows even more on me till this day. I have had the truck for a little less than a month now.

Here is the truck when I first had gotten it.

get a 3 inch body lift for a couple hundy and call it a day, good looking rig.

Yeah, I am low on cash and budget right now. But once I get the money my next thing is a small lift like that. Appreciate it btw man.

Nice ride, but with those tires you need a lift!!!! That is going to look so cool with a lift, Bro!!!!

Thanks man, once I get the money I will do a lift on it. Could anybody point me in the direction of a good lift for my truck?

crank your torsion bars in the front, chevy drop shackles in the back, and a 3" body lift. cheap 5"s of lift

good looking truck, only thing it needs is a slight lift. do it right and save for a lift kit though

looking nice!! and yeah a 3" bodylift would look nice on it.
+1 on removing the decals.

Yeah, I will get a 3" lift nothing bigger. I am currently saving up and looking for a good brand of a kit for it. Also, I hate the decal so I will be taking it off soon. I have some of it off already, more pictures soon.

BTW here is a current picture with the front part of the decal off on the passenger side. Me and my fellow Ranger friend chillin and decided to take a couple more pictures.

My 98 has 3 inch body lift with 33s looks about perfect.

Like that black grill too.

Thanks man, it looks black in the pictures. But it is a dark grey, but soon to be all blacked out.

I don't know if mine has a slight lift, but my 33s don't scrub at all. Rides perfect and no problems or roughness.

Where do you live at? I live in Lancaster, SC. About 30 minutes below Charlotte, NC.
