My 1995 ranger "Lizzy"

Well, when I went in to work yesterday it was raining, and today its snowing nice big flakes today, the drive home was nice and slick, my front tires had no traction compared to my rear tires, although they couldn't do to much with the conditions. It did get a little dicy on the way home, I was heading down hill with a dump truck infront of me when it stopped suddenly, I got a little close for my comfort. (i would say about 1-3 inches between my bumper, and his)

and the list of vehicles I saw stuck heading home

90's dodge caravan ripped off most of the front end jumping the curb

90's chevy cavalier sitting in the ditch, from the looks of it, they hit the E-brake for some fun and lost control

and what looked like a 2wd jeep wrangler stuck in the ditch also.

well it looks like most of my first check will be going for tires, lol CLICKY

Also i was wondering if it would be a good idea to run the snorkel under the truck to the bed and opening up by the rollbar with a pre-cleaner like PlumCrazys truck. your opinions?

Well I was out scouting the junkyard when I found some 99 escort sport ZR2 buckets, they came out without a problem, and only cost me 54.50! I've since torn out my passenger side seat and tried bolting the rangers rails to the escort seats to find out that the seats are a little wider then the rangers rails, so tomorrow I get to go out and get some flatstock and some hacksaw blades to mount those comfy suckers in there, also pics tomorrow, well later today. :icon_twisted:

Well I got the new seats in, met two wheeling buddies, went wheeling twice and right after I changed plugs, wires, oil, and filters the main bearings have decided to go out. :annoyed: so I got to throw together the spare motor and put it in to get my daily driver back on the road. Back to driving the 1500 :bawling:

I figure I would post a pic of when I got stuck playing in woods, after that I pulled the dodge and jeep out of the same creek later on, lol

when shes up and running again I'm going to call beef so we can wheel back there with some of my buddies, should be good times. lol maybe then I'll have good tires.

if you havent got your tires yet, you should check out www.treadwright.com.

cheep cheep tires, and the ones i have on my dd work great, and so far have worn well and lasted 11,000 miles with plenty of life left.

I know, lol my two rear tires are their 30/9.50R15 Pumas, i was planning to get two more but they quit taking orders for them.

Looks like you've been working on her quite a bit, hows the new motor coming???
BTW i have a drivers side tail light and wiper switch for a 94 if your interested.

The new motor is in! now I just need to get enough time out in the garage to muscle the trans and bolt it on, after I adjust the pilot bearing lol, and I don't think I'm going to need the drivers tail, or the wiper switch Beef, sorry, I haven't busted mine out on a tree yet, lol

the trans should be the easy part!!! yeah, i didnt figure you needed them but i figured i would let you know that i had them so you didnt go out and buy them if you ever did need them

yea, thats what I thought too lol, compared to the 87 its tight under there! plus i might be picking up a 89-92 2wd F250 here soon for a buddy, I'm gonna steal the rear axle (might be a sterling) and the gas tanks for Liz, can anybody say huge gas bill? lol
