Im 15 in the ninth grade i have a 1983 XL ford ranger it needs some work but thats y i got it. It has a 2.0 4 cylender in it with a 4 speed transmission. most of everything on it is still stock but it wont be when i get done with it. Right now it is in my shop getting fixxed as i get the money. i have no power stering or air just heat some times having a old truck sucks. It doesn't have a muffler on it it rusted out and i trew the rest of the pipe behind it away so the pipe is about to the end of the cab so it is loud. The only thing is that i have a limited supply of money cause i have no job.

Looks like a good foundation, I have seen worse trucks turned into prom queens. Take your time, ask questions, wear out that search button and start a build thread. Hope to see her emerge from the ashes a winner.

Welcome to TRS also . . .

thanks and she will be a nice ride when i get done with her i will probly replace just about every pice of body on it with after market ones and i like your truck it looks nice.

OK, serious face:annoyed:

Nice start. Looks about where I was when I started mine.

Keep the pace, don't lose momentum, the more you turn that wrench, the more interesting it gets.:icon_thumby:

I see the potential there for sure. So how does it run?

yea looks like a great place to start. but damn at 15 do you have your license yet? well if u dont then plenty of time to work on it, by the time u get your license you could have a nice ride. :icon_thumby:

:idiot: ahh well i cant talk because i got my first ranger at 15 y/o.... lol. stock 96, then i slammed it... :)

When I was 14 I bought my 87 bronco II. Had no clue it would lead to me having 4 different RBV's sitting in my backyard as parts lol.

Heck I have a hard time remembering yesterday(CRS has set in bad). Looks like a good project truck. Take your time and do it right and you will have a nice truck, ready to go when you get your license:icon_welder:
