Mustang to Ranger 2.3L ??

I Need to know if the 93 Mustang 2.3L block is the same as the 94 Ranger 2.3L block? And if not what are the differences? Thanks

The blocks should be exactly the same.

Ranger got the dual plug heads in '89 and mustang got them in '91. If it has the dual plugs it is the same motor. The only thing they changed in those years is the oil pump location. I don't know for sure what years they changed. Look to see if it has a distrubutor blank in the old distributor hole or no hole at all.
