Mustang swap

I got a 88 ranger 2 wd with a 7.5 im going to swap it with a 8.8 disc i know the about gettin the expo and the new ranger swap but my? Is can i swap a mustang gt94-04 rear end and will it bolt up because it got disc and it will save me some time

The mustang dif is centered on the axle, and the ranger dif is offset to one side, so it wouldn't work without changing out an axle and axle tube on one side. But then, it would basically be a ranger axle.
