ok i know they will fit as long as you have the tracks off of the 60/40 seats to bolt to them but does anyone have some pics of what there mustang seats look like in a ranger. and does it matter what year you get the mustang seats from to put in a ranger

wow i asked this question and no-one answered me. I got some GT mustang buckets from a 2001 for my 01 ranger and even with track swap it was imposible. the setas tracks could not bolt onto the gts because the bottom butt pan is a different shape and layout than the ranger bottom. Im lost as these are some great seats and now I have them and dont know what to do with them.

i know and the thing that pisses me off is that everyone keeps saying look in the tech libary and all it says is "Don't bother looking they will be gone when you get there. If you're lucky, look for Mustang GT's. Also halo style headrests on GTs" and that doesnt help anything someone should atleast say what years work with what

I agree! :icon_thumby:

ive got leather stang seats from a 96 an they fit prefectly in my 95 extended cab ranger.. passenger side bracket bolted right up an the driver side the 2 back bolts lined up but the 2 front ones needed to be drilled an tapped.. other than they they bolted in great.

thats strange as i mentioned it in another thread that i got some 2001 mustang gt bucket seats and wanted to put them in my 01 ranger xlt. but yes the rear holes line up but the front does not. the front bolted bracket is welded up and outward . the ranger is welded downward.

also it passenger side seat does not have a airbag wire which my ranger and orginal seats required.

well the seats are for sale if anybody want the, no thanks to tech article who could not even say the year of stang to use; so i assumed all years.

yeah sorry that you spent the money on the seats before knowing they fit that is what i am trying to avoid

if one of the mods could just change the tech library to say what years mustang seats will bolt up to rangers seat tracks it would be greatly appreciated
