Mustang rims to a ranger / explorer ?

i've got a set of 5 lug 17" rims w/245 tires from a 96 and 98 mustang gt and was wondering if anyone has put them on a ranger or explorer and they fit ? i have 89-92 2wd rangers / 2wd 91-94 explorers .

I've got 16" Mustang V6 rims on my 03. Wheels are 1999 to 2004. I know the newer wheels will not work without spacers. My 2004 rims just fit without spacers. The offset makes the tire about 3/4 from the upper ball joint. 215/85/16 is my tire size. I could not fit 235 or wider tires without using spacers. I have a 2wd and the hub fits without any modifications.
