Mustang gt seats

In the Tech Library, it says :

Mustang

Don't bother looking they will be gone when you get there. If you're lucky, look for Mustang GT's. Also halo style headrests on GTs.

Does this mean the current year? Like i have a 2000 ranger, so if i find a 2000 mustang gt and use the seats it will be a direct bolt on?

it means most mustang seats will be gobbled up before you get there,if you happen to find them,great,you might wanna use youre seat brackets out of youre bucket seats and bolt them to the stangs seats,so you know that they fit,if you have 60/40 seats,you might wanna find some ranger bucket seat brackets,or make the mustangs seats fit,you can make most any seat fit,just takes a little ingenuity and fabrication.

my local yard has two 2000+ model year stangs with full interior not ripped or dirty. i dont like em though.
