Mustang engine harness vs. Ranger harness

I ripped out the old computer wiring harness on my '92 ranger(2.3l) and want to put in a harness from a Mustang, but I have run into a problem.

I have all the connectors on the Mustang harness labeled, but for the life of me, I cannot find a good diagram of the engine harness for the ranger.

Is there a place I can get a diagram that's detailed with pictures?

I just need to see which connectors I need and which ones I don't.

See, what I want to do is "blend" the Mustang harness into some of the plugs on the ranger. I'll have some pics up tomorrow on what plugs I am talking about.

And here's the harness from a Mustang. I got all the other connectors labeled, but I don't quite know what the purpose of these three connectors are. The diagram I had wan't very clear on these three.

Whats the green one for?

I know that, I wanted to know the function of the plug ins, what their purpose is for.

I asked a while back about this plug (C105F) I checked out dealers and anybody I could think of. If you would run across someone who knew what the pinout for this plug, you would be all set. It would be a pain in the arse though, running down all those wires. Good Luck to you.

If you order both diagrams you'll be able to answer your own questions. The diagrams are from bumper-to-bumper, and only run about $12 each. What are you waiting on?!?

Helms is the best but Ford also has a wiring swap manual. Several good hints in it I've got a lot of it scanned in you want a quick look.

OK, I just ordered the 2 booklets I'll need, hopefully this'll answer some questions for me. I'll let you know.......

nothing is going to tell you what each plug goes to . you have to trace each wire in the diagram and wire it in

Here's another good question:
I still have the fuel injector harness from the donor vehicle(F-150) and it has 8-pin connectors vs. the 10 pin on the mustang harness. It seems to plug into most of the ranger's original harness.

Would it be a better idea to use the f-150 fuel injector harness vs. swapping out the entire thing and trying to figure out every little wire?

I don't think that MAF would be an issue since the plug is on the engine harness.
