Well I'm looking at getting a mig welder, and I think I can
get a really good deal on this, I've spent alot of money with
snappy, and me and our local dealer are pretty damn good
friends. So I've been eyeballing this for awhile, he had it on the
truck for a couple of weeks and then took it off. So I know he's
had it for awhile. I know these things aren't THAT easy to move,
hence why I think I could get a good deal on it. What do you guys
think? I've got some credit coming back to me that's why I'm looking
at this one...instead of having to pay all of it with cash, I could use
my tool gift cards...I know there is better ones, and probabley cheaper
ones. But what's your guys opinion of THIS one? Thanks for your opinions!

Buy from a welding company like miller and the are cheaper and a whole lot better than what snap-on sell because really you are buying a cheaper welder and because it has snap-on on it you are going to pay top dollar!!!!!

It sounds like quite the machine, hope you don't want to carry it very far.

You could find a much bigger and better welder for less money than that.

also you don't need 100% duty cycle because i doubt anybody will be welding for hours and hours and never stop welding[/URL]

Excuse me, but i weld all day, all night, i weld in my sleep, i weld on the can, i weld while im eating, i weld while im on trs, i weld while im at school (seriously, basic arc) i weld when i working on my truck, i weld when im at work at fastfood, i weld when i go to autozone, ALWAYS :icon_welder: :icon_welder: :icon_welder: :icon_welder: :icon_welder: :icon_welder:

Much better idea! And much more versatile.

The 212 is nice but take a good look at the 211 as well. It is more portable because of the smaller case but can still run with the 212.

its not hard to get 140 amps at 100% ANY 180A OR LARGER WILL PROBLY HAVE A a 100% duty cycle at 140a
