1. my ranger burns oil, i add oil every few days.
2. replaced 6/8 sparks, other two are a pain in the ars and the two sparks have less than 30k on them.
3. replaced clutch and slave. vehicle kills at stop signs and lights not always but has happened have to pull out of first with clutch in and give it gas and nutraul tech said i could have bad synchros. gears are hard to get in pushing really hard with no dice then itle go.
4. truck shakes at speeds over 55, and gets worse at 65. and truck losses acceleration in 5th on big hills shift down to 4 and i can maintain 65. i have replaced carrier barring as it broke and had it towed for that. balanced the shaft tech couldn't get the two rear bolts off so he sent out only the front part so half of my shaft is balanced. tires are in good shape with less than 25k miles on them. i have a pull to the right have had it aligned multiple times and comes back in less than 2k miles.
truck has 206,000 miles on it.
5. exhaust up front by the converter connection to the engine the bolts are gone and rusted. cab gets exhaust in side while driving not a-lot but enough to notice.
6. i would love to work on it my self but i know almost nothing about repairs ive watched u tube videos but they leave out small but important details. i have zero tools. i work at a auto dealer they do my repairs if i knew a mechanic i'd pay him 25$ hr to teach me hands on repairs the techs hate my ranger and my boss has to tell them they will write them up if they dont work on it. any help or information to help me know what to fix. this is my only vehicle and cant afford another. so i really need this truck to last i like it cause its old enough to not have all the electronics in it and its all metal the way they should be.

Sounds like a "keeper"....................only half joking, I might be tempted to sell it to a mechanic that can fix it up, but up to you really.

"Burning oil" is causing the lack of power and probably the stalling, a "dry" and then "wet" compression test or leakdown test will tell you if the piston rings or the valve guide seals are what is causing the oil burning.
Valve guide seals can be changed with engine in vehicle, rings should be done with engine out and a full rebuild.

Higher speed vibrations tend to be drive line related, so you will need to get those two bolt out.
Tires weight alot, so wheel vibrations tend to start at lower speeds, although wheel bearings can or suspension issue can act similar to drive line vibration.
Since you mentioned alignment I would first find out why alignment is not staying true, you have a worn part that is shifting positions after re-aligning.

1994 Ranger has the same electronics as a 2012 Ranger???

screeching

i forgot to mention that the truck when coming to a stop has a high piched screech like its the brakes but its not those are at 5 and 7. so i do have suspension issues.

Not sure what "at 5 and 7" mean, but a high pitch noise when stopping is the brakes.

Worn suspension parts would usually provide a nice "clunk" when stopping

First thing is I WOULDN'T let the place you work at fix ANYTHING on your truck. Sounds like a bunch of half-a##*d mechs working there. They don't want to get their hands dirty on your old truck. Can't get the bolts out-what the hell is that!!! Find someone or someplace that will take the time to listen to you. Some of your issues are a cheap fix-exhaust bolts are cheap(as long as flange is useable), and a reputable shop should be able to do that reasonable-provided your pipe is OK. Sounds like trans is on its last legs, or someone that put in clutch didn't do a good job, or didn't do the job at all!! Let a trans shop diagnose this, but tell them no work is to be done. Diagnoses are FREE at most shops, and they shouldn't have to take anything apart-there is an inspection hole on most manual transmissions. Someone can push on the clutch and the other tech can inspect for slave movement at the pressure plate. Now that oil problem is NOT going to get better-and this could cost more than a few bucks to fix. It sounds like seals and guides are shot. If you live in a moderate climate, try using a heavier oil like a 20-50, or straight weight 40 to slow down the oil consumption, unless you have a bad seal leak, which the heavier oil may help slow down. Oil is what is fouling out your plugs! Front end could cost a couple of $$, again find a shop that is willing to help. Shouldn't have to align every 2000 miles. I take it that this is a 4X4. and the screeching could be brakes, or a bad bearing in the front driveline. Add all this up, and see if fixing this old truck is worth it?? Maybe someone on this site lives in your area that can help you?? Good luck!!:icon_thumby:
