Mufflers

i ran a cherry bomb

GARBAGE the drone was so bad i put my STOCK muffler back on...

i am now enjoying my silence...AND my truck runs ALOT better then with the glasspack ironically...

I have that one on my Ranger. It sounds ok, better around 25-3K, quiets out on the highway. I like it enough. Actually sounds a bit better than when I had no muffler.

Just remember to kerosene treat the inside before you put it on. Dump a 1/4 of heating oil down it, make sure to get it all around, and it gives it a bit more throat.

YOU want a nices sound and it's not LOUD AT ALL ----PUT A SET OF SIDE PIPES ON IT-----I like them run a set on RANGER 1--THE 84 Ranger I built and now have put them on the 81 Ford van I drive---OLD SCHOOL LOOK ---

I painted that set to match the truck----I left the set on my van chrome

I have a glasspack on my ranger, it drives me nuts having to listen to it going down the road, of cousre I only have a 2.3 engine, but it still sounds bad, and not bad in a good way.

I didn't like the glass pack sound on the 2.9, I had the flowmaster 40 and loved it. but then ripped the 2.9 out and put the 4.0 in and the flowmaster sounded like crap.
i recommend the flowmaster on a 2.9 and straight for the 4.0 lol
