Okey I may be buyin a 97 ranger with the 3.0 5spd with 33's what kinda mpg would I be look at with this thing?

Milage depends on where you live ( you didn't say), how your driving habits are, and how long your daily trips are. Also with them 33's, if you havn't changed the gear ratio you are most likely starting off with a gas burner..

im in ky, and I can have a light foot and i have no deal about gears.
 
how many times does this have to be gone over... 10-20MPG. don't expect more
 
Yeah quite frankly there are plenty of threads on this.

Some people will give wacked out numbers over 24 MPG. AINT HAPPENING

Expect anywhere from 14 to 18 in the city, and expect anywhere from 19 to 22 on the highway. My all time low is 16 MPG, my all time high was 23.7 MPG on a 60 MPH Highway drive in cool temperatures with a tailwind, lol
 
I do city driving, 06 ranger 3.0 on 33's auto transmission. 11 miles per gallon, non lead foot.
