How much of a pita is it to move the steering box 3" forward? I stretched my wheel base 3" forward for my sas. Now my drag link hits my tie rod when the drive side wheel is stuffed. Entertaining ideas.

Bump stop it so it doesn't contact?

What's your steering setup? What point on the draglink hits the tie rod? You might be able to put a clearance bend in the drag link, or mount the drag link on the back side of the tie rod if you're using the traditional "inverted T" setup.

I am using a chevy 3/4 ton steering set up. I don't think I have room for the drag link to be mounted behind the tie rod, because it will not clear the front cap of the radius arm. I might be able to put a bend in the drag link, if that is kosher.

If you've got decent material thickness it won't hurt anything. I've got a clearance bend in mine, with 1.5x.250 DOM.

yeah I am running 1.5" 1/4 walled dom. I will just put a bend in it. Thanks.
