Here is the post from my build when i did mine.
The XJ coils sit perfect in the EB style seats, so I didn't have to start from scratch. To get my coils to sit straight I had to move the lower mounts back 1.5" which conveniently is the bolt spacing on the lower mount. So I moved the mount back so that the front hole was using the hole in the RA.
On the pass side I had to turn the lower seat 180 to clear the offset built in to allow the seat to sit flat.
Then I added a block to the arm an drilled and tapped a hole under the rear hole in the mount
I added same 1/4" plate around the block to support the lower seat.
Made some bump stops that bolt on with 1/2" bolts.
The coils went from 22.5" unloaded to 16" loaded, so by the time I add the rubber isolator in I will be sitting about 3" lower up front.
When the wheel starts to stuff the extended wheelbase really shows.lol
The coil sits straighter than this at ride. The EB coils always had huge arch in them since my lower seat was too far forward and the RBV buckets didn't allow them to sit right anyway.
