I've been searching around for a while now, and haven't found what I'm looking for. I need the motorcraft part # for plugs on a 2002 4.0L FX4.
I've come up with two sets of numbers - AGSF34FP and SP498. I just need somebody to chime in to let me know if these are the right numbers. As soon as possible, I need new plugs tomorrow. Thanks.

Excellent. I'm done with the autolites, my truck keeps spitting them out. Anyone happen to know the motorcraft plug wires #? I have come up with WR6120 and just want to verify that also.

AGSF34FP is the plug that came from the factory. They last far beyond 100,000 miles.

they sell them at o'reilly or kragen which ever you have in your area that's where i buy them. autolites are NOT THE SAME only buy motorcraft and why are you changing them like big jim says tey are good for at least 100 grand

I changed them at 90,000 because of a bad jerk/buck that I was getting. Put the autolite double plats in, and they were good for about a week. Finally got a misfire code, pulled the plug and the porcelain was cracked. So I put another one in - went with the same plug because I had to get it back on the road and was having troubles finding them - and now again, a week later and it seems as though it has happened again. I will know more about if it's the same cylinder when I do the plugs this week.

I was having issues with Autolites (Double Platinum) too. I've switched to the Motorcraft Iridium fine wires. So far so good.

They were just over 3 bucks a piece at www.rockauto.com - Autozone wants 6 bucks a piece.

picked them up last night from advance for under $4. Ordering some Motorcraft wires from rockauto, great deals over there. Here's a discount code good until March 6 - 45937633767713
