motor wont crank

I think lwoer left side of main pulley, ie were the timing notches would be.

changed the crank sensor, and it was a waste of $33 but atleast i know i have a new sensor i guess. im starting to think it has to deal with the wiring or grounds. the battery keeps getting drained just sitting in the truck

does the battery drain when the cables are disconnected?

it doesnt drain when its disconnected from the truck. only when its connected. so could it be a bad ground somewhere?

I had the small light in the glove compartment staying on cause me some headaches once.. Of course I couldn't SEE the damn thing and overnight my battery wouldgo down.
Could be the backup light switch, the brake light switch.. But mostly suspect would be any aftermarket radio or amp or any other thing added by this owner or previous owner.
Once in a while the alt or the starter will bleed to ground.

so basically check the wiring and grounds? i was reading and it said that if the engine fails to start, check the fuel pump switch? im about to give it a try and see if my luck will change.

put a full charge on the battery. it wont even turn over now. checked fuel put cut off switch and its good. checked to see if the fuel filter might have been clogged but its brand new.

when i turn the ignition on. all the lights on the dash board come on. do you think the computer or wiring harness could be trashed?

really need help. now it wont even crank. maybe a bad relay or something? im getting pretty upset with this thing. im about ready to pull it over the scale
