does anyone know the size differance between a 6.9l deisal and a 5.ol gas motor. i can get my hands on a 6.9l kinda easy, just wanted to know if it would fit in my ranger as easy as a 5.0l. any info would be appreciated. thanks.

Probably be just as easy (or, easier) to adapt a Ranger body onto a full-size frame. :icon_idea::icon_welder:

I would compare it to a 460 or bigger, it's a good bit bigger than a 5.0.

hay! thanks for the info!! i didn't really think about putting the body over on the truck frame, i will look in to that one. i know of a bll being put on a truck frame. they cut the frame and shorten it to fit the body. if it is about the size of the 460 it would probably be easier to change the body over. thanks for the info. i have not seen the motor a budy of mine called me the other day and told me about the motor. again thanks!!!
