wondering if anbody has tried those motor mounts that allow to use the origonal v6 mounts. or is buying the aftermarket 4x4 mounts from advanced adapter are better

Had them in mine and they worked great(93 supercab 4.0L) and then sold them to another guy who is now currently using them in his BII. They are simple, effective and most importantly CHEAP.

I ended up buying engine mounts from trans-dapt for my latest 5.0 build since I was starting with a 2.3L truck this time and what a POS they are, they are well made but put the damn stud from the runner engine side mount right over the frame cross member. It took me and a helper over an hour with the help of pry bars and a porta-power to get two 1/2" nuts tight.

I used them with a 331 stroker and now using them with a 351/ turbo setup. They work great.

most ford lincoln midsize cars all have the same motor mount regardless of what the tech page says. look up part numbers and it will show but a set of mounts from say like i used 86 lincoln cont and they bolt in fall in the holes smoothly with the 302 swap
