motor build

i got my 88 with the swap already done. i want to build another motor with more power and better torque cuz im gonna drag this truck. ive got a 302 out of a 69 bronco, just curios where to find the right ingrediants that won cost me everything i own.. im looking for around 300 horse and 300+ ftlbs.. if its doable that is.. im keeping it carbed and want to avoid as much machine work as i can and shes staying N/A... thanks for the help

I 347'd mine. It was a '69 out of a Bronco like yours, but I have a set of '68 heads that I had built up. The machining/kit/building cost me around 2900.00 with another 1300.00 in heads. HP costs money.

You can make that easy even with a 331 as well, depend on what you need for engine life and where you need the power to come in rpm wise.

i was thinking of the 331 stroker.. its going to be a 1/8 mile bracket truck with minimal road use, maybe a cruise around town once in a while. im not against having it bored to .030 over, that cost is resonable with our machine shops in the area.... HP does cost money and i have no time limit on the completion of this. the motor thats in it is ok, its just bone stock. it has a mild cam but thats all. thanks for the help guys. whats the easiest way to match componants to make sure everything works togather?

NO2 is cheap. Just make sure you have good internals.
