My credo
Give 'yer balls a tug. Fight me.
Don't get a chub reading it now lol. That is one weird exhaust and header.... 6 into 1 then splits crapily into two a few feet from the headers... Euro crap is weird... Only thing nice about euro stuff is it's all metric...

Oh my god that's cool. I need one of those cars.

Oh, and if you look at the line about "1987: depending on countries legislation, Bosch L-jetronic electronic dual (2) points fuel injection (2 injectors)"

I'm still trying to get a hold of that throttle body, but some of the early Sierra ones have two injectors directly behoind the throttle plates.

Norwegian and UK guys use them for TT builds in addition to the MPI lower to spray alllllllll the fuel. This is how you get a 2.9 to the ~600hp mark.

Coooooooool! Add some fuel to the fuel! :headbang:

It isn't all metric... it can get weird off the beaten path.

Are ratchets still 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 in Europe or are they 6.35, 9.525, and 12.7mm?

Also, they speak too many languages over there. Don't you think? Some of them countries are smaller than states.. And all speak a different language.. What a pain in the ass. Longest popular roadtrip route across Europe is just under 3k miles and you'd have to deal with 10 different languages on the way.

Dumb.

I've had too much sun this week. Don't mind me.

600hp on. 2.9?? I'd like to see that. Seriously, I'd like to see that.

There's one of Skogenracing's. Impressive that its on stock internals at 535hp at the rear wheels. When you account for driveline losses, its around 600 at the crank.

They did build one up to run consistent 630+ on the dyno. New phone, so going to have find the links again.

This is why I call you an idiot when you bust on the 2.9 lol. They're a rally engine. We don't race rally here, so they were virtually unknown to us.

Power Engineering in the UK claims to have built them to 800+, but I can't find the dyno sheets from them. Still searching.

I wonder why they felt the need of a 2 piece rear drive shaft? The rear looks to be mounted solid....
