I WANT to buy some sort of press to do wheel bearings u joints and all that other press type crap. I don't wanna buy a harbor freight 20t press or a harbor freight piece of crap. I've seen people use c clamps. I know autozone sells press sets for around 100$ and I know you can buy press sets on amazon for 90. Ive considerd buying a bench vise but I don't have a bench to bolt it to. I want something that's gonna work right be easy and not break. If it cost 150$ then oh well. Last time I had a wheel bearing pressed it was 200$ so this tool would have already payed for itself.

I don't wanna buy something that's gonna break. I don't ussually break tools but I've read a few posts about people breaking there 100$ or more press.

So what do you recommend I buy? Maybe buy autozones press and reinforce it?

I bought and use a princess auto [same as harbour freight] ball joint remover tool and it works fine for me. As in the following thread, I've used several different ways of removing and replacing u-joints and all have worked just fine....I guess as I get older and not so broke I buy tools cause I like tools, not cause it's that they work all that much better, tho some do.

I use a 4 inch vise and hammers. I'm pretty good with a 2 pound ball peen hammer That is what I use on my BMWs :D

I have the harbor freight 40t. There's nothing wrong with it at all.I've put it through hell and its fine.

Buddy has the harbor fright press with no issues thus far.
