i just bought my 87 ford ranger and i love it when im just buzzing around town but then i decided to go to winter park to ski and wow what a diffrence coming from an audi to the ranger it feels like im barley moving. andy suggestions on how to get more power out of it i put a cold air intake on it and moved the exhaust to infront of the tire thats all i have done. i live in colorado so i would think the altitude would effect it but not sure. anything would help im kinda new to the rangers!:icon_hornsup:

If you want more power id stick a 302 in there. Dont expect to get a lot out of the 4 banger.

throutle body, james duff power chip, headers, gears, header back pipeing, go to the tech section and look ,their is some stuff. i did all this plus intake and it poles away from honda civics at stop lights, its pretty funny. good luck
