More Bronco hear say.

Ok 2022 Bronco sport vs a 1987 Suzuki Samurai, who wins?

View attachment 61648

You probably couldn’t find a Sammy within 250 miles that isn’t rotted away to (beyond) dangerous to drive... by the time we finish this comparison, another Samurai will have rotted itself into extinction.

The battle is as I have described it! The winner shall challenge the 1992 Isuzu Amigo!

The Bronco Sport wins hands down across every category except ground clearance in stock form.

I say we start testing by pushing a Samurai off a cliff and see if it can be driven away once it gets winched back to the top of the mountain.

But we also do the same to @snoranger's wife's bronco sport too right? If so I will literally find a Suzuki Samurai by dawn...

That other bronco don't count, facebook is nothing but lies. We do this right and roll both down a cliff at the same time with witnesses.

Well you should clear that with Mrs. sonranger first don't ya think?

Good Luck!

You married people... "oh my, I gotta ask my wife's permission to roll her car off a cliff"

I don’t have to ask her permission to roll her car off a cliff!!!!!

I already know I’m not allowed to.

So YOU are not allowed... that leaves the conversation open, good good, we are talking, we still got some moves here. What if NOT you rolls it off a cliff?

Maybe you're making pancakes or whatever the heck you do, and @bobbywalter rolls it off a cliff?

Ok... I asked. I’m not allowed to roll it off a cliff. I asked nicely, and even said “are you sure I can’t?”

So I followed up with “what if someone else does it?”...

Still no.

I may have to pull the “I paid for it” card... that will have to wait until after the “it’s Saturday night, :hottubfun:

There were 60 or so hard tops of crazy colors over near the Dakota yard last time I was home . Maybe they are not up to par.

Those roofs have been ass biters since before the ranger debut. Though it looked solved last February ..

Like a jeep. The plastic trim is lame in both circumstances, but it’s needed to hide all the air bags.

but this picture of a “bronco truck” doesn’t have any removable top.

That "Bronco" truck is just one of the new Maverick Crucks with a Bronco front end Photoshopped onto it...either way another useless vehicle for many that want just a simple 2 door pickup for a work truck....the current Ranger is at least somewhat close if you get it with only the extended cab you can at least get it with a 6 foot bed. I don't want/need 4 doors...I was pricing the F150 regular cab and the F250 regular cab and oddly enough the F250 is about $1300 cheaper for some reason, might be the way I go in the future. Love my 87 Long Bed Ranger, but it don't quite have enough towing capacity for my car trailer and tractor that's coming soon LOL. Need to find an older F-Series pickup for towing duties.

You will be seeing the Big Bronco soon... they're on trucks heading to the dealers.

For customers that have pre-ordered correct? Not for dealer inventory yet? I want to go check one out...I've yet to look at the new Ranger either, other than seeing them on the road...I noticed a few of the local pest control companies are now buying the extended cab Rangers, and I've seen a couple of Budweiser extended Cab Rangers too...not very popular of an option sadly so wouldn't be surprised if Ford takes another stupid step and discontinues the extended cab model soon. Too me the new Rangers with 4 doors look way too much like a car...or the useless Explorer Sport Trac...guess the upcoming Maverick Cruck will replace the Sport track uselessness. Yeah I understand people think they need a 4 door truck so they can use them for family sedans, all the while complaining about the horrible truck ride quality and truck fuel economy rather than buying a car or crossover that they should have bought in the first place as they have absolutely no clue what a truck is built to do hence their ride and fuel economy complaints LOL.

The first shipment went to dealers for display and road testing... blah blah blah. Don't think they will have sellable units for awhile.

I seen where several people got notification theirs was built and a ship to dealer date.

It's finally happening

Im confused, now i gotta buy a Pac-Man game and a hot tub from the 70's?

Just forfeit... admit the Suzuki Samurai wins. You're unwillingness to compete is a victory regardless. SUZUKI BEATS BRONCO!!!!

They did sneak in a couple VIP builds with the dealer run... basically if they felt sorry enough for you you got to cut in line for filler.

Right now their focus is mainly on First Editions, they are trying to get everybody that ordered a FE a 2021MY truck... so everything else is second fiddle to the FE right now.

And on that note they did announce/leak/whatever when the cutoff for 2022 is:

2022 Initial Order Acceptance: 09/13/21
2022 Scheduling Begins: 10/14/21
2022 Production Startup: 12/13/21

So yeah, a good chance we are going to have to reorder ours as a '22 methinks.

But wait, there's this!!!

If you can afford to import one once the buying frenzy dies down...
