More Bronco hear say.

Asking Bobby about how hard an engine swap is is about like asking Superman how hard it is to fly...

A coyote in a first Gen fits worse than a 460. IMO same as not fitting.

Wait for a 7.3 if you must, they are a hair bigger than a 351W.

The new Coyotes are that much larger than the old 302's? I guess most likely they would be with all the stuff that's added on top of them for fuel injection, wiring harnesses, etc. I didn't think a 460 would ever fit in an RBV anyways, I've heard of a few do a 351 swap and had to do quite a bit to get them to fit then had worse overheating issues than the old 302 swaps LOL.

That new Coyote engine in a new Bronco would be awesome though. Or in a new Ranger.

Massively huger... and weighs about the same.

I was thinking the same thing. The hard and fast rules the rest of us live by are a lot more flexible when Bobby designs an engine swap. And it's a beautiful thing.

That's fair to a point ... But the packaging of it is better then the romeo.

Steering issues are there.
go over rail with steering gear on the older trucks .. for more clearance hybrid the column and room is there in spades

Remote the hvac in any case...that sux. But doable for garage build.

have to add joints on the newer trucks ...but steering can be easier

There are already guys stepping up to do coyote swaps in this bronco platform right off the dealer lot.

That will tie into the next generation ranger nicely.

I am stuck on the 4 whizzer ecoboost for my b2...but lil bob is growing up and pushing for something that makes proper sounds.

My wife is raining on my new bronco parade with the Tahoe....so it will be interesting to see what I get stuck with.

I belive ford is selling crate 7.3s, but they do not have a stand alone wiring harness yet, like the coyote.
The holley runs it fine.

Watson and holbrook have several running builds.

Dyno Tech at Ford verified it's fitable in the ranger....well...cut outs. Lives a few houses down.

That's my engine vs a 350....mod motor vs 302.....and a 350 vs 302.

when you line these up from crank centerline position the space that the mod uses up most is available in the rangers... re-indexing pedal location for brake booster or going hydroboost will depend on application.....2wd low rider to sas trail brute on 40's...

the 6.8 liter version of godzilla and induction/direct injection scheme will be a much better fit in these broncos.... with electric versions and hybrids of EVERYTHING ford makes on the table....from an emissions perspective....going to be some interesting potential out of these broncos.

i suspect electrics to go after postal and delivery markets...

Well crap guess that throws out the Coyote in the Bronco 2 or Ranger then LOL. I didn't realize the Coyote was that damn wide.
no..... we just said it fits fine. that fat bastard diesel looks cozy in my rig and it is a gen 1

you guys are crazy....

That intake tube is kinda small looking.

Now I want to see you put a 300 in it.

The 2v 5.4 in my F150 feels more like an engine swap than the 302 in my Ranger.

Only one cam per engine in my Ranger thank ya very much...

Also why we went 2.3 on the Bronco...

That is a really nice looking Bronco 2, and it sounds great too. Ok, so Coyote or 5.4L Triton at some point in a Ranger or Bronco 2 is added to my bucket list LOL.
