More Bronco hear say.

I just found another picture of snorangers picture.

I see it being suggested it might be CNG. It's got something on the rear quarter.

Are EB's CNG compatible?

I bet it is a sensor or something.

I can't see the CNG market being very big for these, probably more likely to be a power charger for an electric variant this day in age but then they would still use the regular fuel door.

2nd,
I found that if you’re truck looks like a you need to put a block of wood behind the seat to hold the door jam in place, cops look for a reason to give you a ticket.

Truck in question was a brand new super duty....or hd 2500 or 3500.... My trucks bed shields the hitch....no issues there.

My cab broke free ...from me and bobby radically thrashing the fawk out of it because I refused to pull cable.....I was having fun and did not want the Jeeps extracting me.....i know....juvenile...and it's just like that sometimes.

My t case is stretched too and leaking from porosity.... it happens with the 208s....I have exploded many....it was moments from total failure.

20 minutes to swap that out. The cab...I just have not decided what I want to do ... But if I have to go to Florida or more the an hour away....it will be solid ...

That patched up piece of shit is more reliable then the brand new vehicles we have bought the last ten years....and saved many troopers from embarrassment extracting them out of ditches from Colorado to new jersey.

I could see CNG for fleet use.

I’m just bustin your b@lls.

I guess that silver thing on the upper rear quarter could be a tacky foil lid for a yogurt cup. Damn tree huggers and their trash.

It has some yellow spray paint on the front tow hooks too.

That exhaust is pretty friggin goofy too...

If anything they would be testing it in plain sight for the Ranger, I don't see the Bronco being much of a fleet vehicle.

Yeah, if you want 85_Ranger4x4 to cut the exhaust of his wife's new car, make it look like that.

There are two hardtops, MIC (molded in color dark gray plastic) and Modular (painted shadow black)

Both come out in sections with basically a big peice above each seat and a cap in the back. Modular is different slightly with more peices in the back cap. You can remove a big sunroof "machine gunner" section in the middle and the windows come out.

We ordered the MIC.

A: I am cheap and it is the cheaper option
B: It is removable and I can be a klutz. I can't scratch paint if it isn't painted
C. Not crazy about glossy roofs, even on Jeeps they just look weird.

Thanks for the explanation. Its kind of confusing on the website as to the difference between the 2 tops. I know they offer a couple different soft tops too. Not sure how often I'd have the top off, I'd assume the more you take it off the more prone it will be to leaking in the future maybe? So it sounds like it won't be too bad to remove with the cheaper hard top option so I'll probably go with that as well. Won't be this year or next year, I'll wait a couple years until the new toy buyer stuff has worn off so I can go look at one, and by then I'm sure they'll have bugs worked out of them by that time. Got to try and get the rest of the mortgage paid off first, only about $24k left, banks won't help refinance it so I'd like to get it paid off ASAP as it has a 5.5% interest rate on it, not too bad but would rather have that extra interest in my pocket than Wells Fargo. Then I can go look at a new toy...err I mean work vehicle LOL.

They can fit fine. Just not an 8 hour job like a 302 windsor.

When I say turn-key, I mean a complete used setup on a crate that runs....radiator and all...fire it up and let it eat.

6500 to 8500 depending on miles. That's fair pricing for 400 hp....and a bad ass transmission....I am not a big fan of the t case situation....but it is what it is. The gm seems better in that area....manual t cases are still common.

You just take the working unit and fit it in. So the wiring and tuning/pats delete is done.

There's several ways to deal with steering... depending on chassis. The engine in my ranger is larger where it matters .. exhaust is not bad.

The 3.5 is much harder otoh. And even the 2.3 in many ways depending on chassis and whether or not you want ac...and cruise control.

Very interesting, thank you for sharing your knowledge. I had no idea the Coyote would fit in a Ranger or Bronco 2. I may go that route eventually, but thinking maybe doing a swap in an 80's Ranger though. Any mods have to be done for clearance in the way of the hood or anything? Or will it drop in and not be noticeable? Would be a cool sleeper truck if it'll drop in and not be noticeable. When you say bad ass transmission are you talking about the 10 speed or the 6 speed? Either way I guess it wouldn't matter at that point as I'd need a transmission that would work with it....I highly doubt the poor little A4LD could handle 400+HP it had a hard enough time behind the 4L V6 LOL.

Maybe more worth doing the Coyote swap than the old 302 then. I mean newer engine, and transmission means an OBD2 system to easily get codes and troubleshoot, over the lack thereof in the 80's stuff LOL. I don't mind the old stuff at all, but if I am gonna spend that kind of money on a swap may as well go with the newer engine/transmission. I'd love to see and drive a Coyote swapped Ranger or Bronco 2...I bet it would be an awesome truck.

I always keep a hitch in the receiver, the escape has a bar like those rear-step things you can buy (but I made mine) In winter the ranger carries a pintle hook, it’s perfect for a chain / strap and if I were to get hit in the butt would cause maximum damage to whoever hit me. In the summer I just have a normal drawbar with a 2” ball.

You want maximum damage leave one of these in your receiver....
