Moisture in the cab ??

I'm sure I've read this here before so if this is redundant, I apologize. I noticed some dampness under my passenger floor mat this morning and I've read that it may be the heater core, allthough there is no aroma to the moisture, I also noticed it under the driver side mat as well. Anyone have any ideas or direct me to the proper forum.

How old is your ranger, you might have water getting in your seals. Any rain lately?

iirc, you might search this form back. some guys have squeezed sealant into the corner where the fender and cowl come together and go back toward the windshield/door jamb. i did this myself as i had the same problem and no water has gotten in since. good luck.

Also make sure you clean out your cowls too, if the drains are stopped up it will find it's way in.

how do you clean the cowls out?

sorry dont mean to thread jack but my 93 gets water in it all the time when it rains and im running out of options

In mine, there are 2 silver plates on the fire wall, take those off and clean out the cowls under the wipers. The left one drains to the right and it has a hole it falls down the front fender to the ground, so make sure its free and clear. I ran the water hose through mine to clean it out.

Do you have AC? Make sure the drain for the evaporator isn't clogged.
