Model year f150 help

speaking to the owner is not possible ATM, im trying to figure out what year this is. Theres no inspection sticker so i cant tell that way. Im guessing its a 8th gen since if im not mistaken 9th gen had plastic side mirrors.

i know its a xlt lariat. Really nice shape. Just sits there. It is a manual and the interior looks more dated than my ranger (which is a 94, another reason i think its an 8th)



oh on a side note, i saw a dodge that looked like it was completely painted with rhino lining.

sorry for the crappy picture i noticed it right before the light changed. It was defiantly a rough textured paint. Not matte or anything like that. Even the wheels were like that with only neon green beadlocks.

The f150 in your pic is anywhere between 1987-1991. Front end changed in '92-'96

FYI: Our inspection stickers dont have the year or VIN on them anymore. You can even see that in your 2nd pic...No info on the sticker.

Yes, its an 8th gen.

If you want to know the exact year, check the VIN # in the windshield. The 10th digit is the year, 8th is the engine.

I know that, but figured itd have an old sticker on it. Thanks for the heads up on the vin. If its a 5.0 will the 9th digit be a 0?

Just checked it, the 10th was a letter and the 8th was a 5. The vin was tough to read though due to the angle and the windshield.

Hmm i must of counted the digits wrong. Hopefully its a v8. My ranger struggles due to the lack of power.

Y is the 8th, j is the 10th. And it either has 95kto or 195k. Guess ill pass on it
