Mod Suggestions

Not sure if this is the right forum for it but here it goes...

I have a 2004 2WD Ranger Edge and I want to get it ready for some mild trail riding. I know it's only a 2WD but I want to be able to take it to some National Parks for some camping as well as the occasional trail. So....what should I mod?

Locker? Tires? I don't really think I need a lift. Anything else?

hmm put some nice Rims and 31s on her i think you can get them with out lift?

Yup everyone is right. Good tires and a locker.. And if you think it's needed a winch, but I doubt for national parks and basic camping you'll need that. A hi lift would be a good addition. And don't forget lighting.. A couple hid lights up front and some rectangular fog lights on the rear on separate toggle switches. Don't forget relays

Sliders and bumpers if you plan on actually being able to use a highlift and not cause more damage than you already have. Locker and 31m/t's would be the first step like everyone else said. My buddies old 2wd ranger went more places than some designated trail rigs, wheelin is 25% vehicle and 75% driver ability. His advice for a 2wd "lots of skinny pedal".

Locker, AT or MT tires, extra foreward lighting and guns. Make sure your geared up with a ditch bag, food/water rations and recovery gear... then any room you have left should be used for more guns and booze. And by all mean's dont pack a woman if there are free range one's where you are heading, the passenger seat should be reserved for the dog anyway's.
