missing part

i went to do the auto to manual hub swap today. the driver side went fine but there is a part mising on the pasinger side, its the gruved washer that sits between the lock nut and the c-clip to stop the axel from slideing throw. can i get one at the parts store of do i need to go throw ford. or is there any way to jery rig a washer in so it will do the same thing?? thanks

Get one at the stealership. If they have it. Otherwise try the junk yards. You do need it; I would not try anything else.

are you talking Splined washer?

Rob the one off the drivers side and put it on the passenger side temporaily.

The drivers side axle can't really go anywhere. the passenger side? yeah, it can...
