i keep having to put brake fluid in my truck and everytime i look it look it looks low. I can not find any leaks and my brakes works great nice petal and all. The only thing i did notice was that my brake booster was missing the paint under it. Could it just be a slow leak in the master cylinder? any thoughts

Rear Wheel Cylinders

Pull your Rear Brake drums off and see if they if your brake shoes are all wet. Sometimes it takes a while for visible leaks on the rear brake cylinders as they leak fluid inside the rear drums. If they are bad I would replace both of them at the same time. Measure across your brake drums as the parts store will want to know what size of drums you have.

Another thing you can do is unbolt the master cylinder and pull it back. There should be enough slack in the brake lines.By feeling and looking with it unbolted you should be able to tell if its leaking.

kinda looks like it was leaking but my brakes work so good seems kinda weird can the master cylinder be just starting to go? Im going to pull the drum off tommorow.
