I'm not sure if this in the right place, but I really could use some help. Earlier in the year, the manual choke broke on the ranger (2.8 engine). Since it was warm, I didn't bother with replacing it. Now that it is beginning to get cold out I went ahead and got an electric choke for the Holley carb. Turns out there is a spring and a fast idle lever missing from the carb. :annoyed: Any ideas where I could get these two things? I've looked on ebay, amazon, etc with no luck. For now, I get by ok without a choke, but the nights are getting colder...

They are for a Holley 45-223 carb/choke

I can't say that I could help with the missing parts, but if you cannot find them then the next best thing would be a block heater.

I haven't had a working choke on my motorcraft 5200 carb since I've owned it and for the past two years I've been able to start it on the coldest of mornings by simply plugging in the block heater for upwards of an hour...

Starts first crank almost every time...

You may be able to find a parts carb at a local auto wrecker. They normally have a shelf or two of carbs you may get lucky.
