So, im dealing with a misfire issue on Cylinder #1.

I replaced the spark plugs and wires (Autolite parts) and installed a new set of coil packs in the truck (Motorcraft). The misfire never moves and always stays on cylinder #1.

whats the next step? compression test, test #1 injector? im kinda stumped.

Truck is a '96 2.3L manual.

As always, thats for the help guys!

A compression test would be a good next step. You can also check your fuel trim if it's above 20 % then the misfire is fuel related.

how do i check the fuel trim?

im going to do a compression test, and try moving injector 1 to cylinder 2 and vice versa, to see if the misfire moves.

With a good OBD II scanner.
