Does anyone have any suggestions on cheap mirrors/recovery hooks?

I've heard Isuzu Trooper mirrors fit perfectly, but not sure which years. I also get stuck constantly in any kind of mud/snow so i'd like to find some cheap recovering hooks to snag too :D

I you have a reciever hithch you can get a slide in hook for like $10 and for the front just by 2 tow hooks and bolt them to the frame. But i have no idea for the mirrors.

When I read you post, at first I thought you wanted mirros that could be used as tow hooks...

I agree with Yellowford. If you have a reciever in the back, then when you need to be pulled, just take the strap end, slide into the reciever, and stick the pin though the loop, like you would a hitch.

And for the front, just buy some $5-10 tow hooks from a 4wheeldrive shop, or an autoparts store, and bolt them on. In my opinion, you only really need one on each end. Having two on each end is just a convience if one side is 2 feet in the mud or something. Having two can also be helpfull from a leverage/ angle point of view, but by no means do you HAVE to have 2.

for mirrors I just went on ebay and bought the cheap M3 style mirrors for like 23 with 10 shipping. work good and look ok.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PULL OUT YOUR TRUCK BY THE MIRRORS!!!

JK. You can get cheap tow hooks about anywhere from home depot, lowes, ace hardware, most autoparts stores, even walmart if you improvise. For mirrors I'd check ebay.

I bought some nice tow hooks that were made for a JEEP TJ front bumper from a local 4wheel store for 4.99 a piece. Heavy like 20,000 pound rating. Not sure where I am going to mount them but if you guys have any ideas let me know. I have an FX4 and already have them on the front. I might try to change them out. Not meaning to highjack the thread
