I just pulled a lady in a mini van out of the median. I live in PA and we are getting a bunch of ice and freezing rain right now. I don't know how she ended up in the median but any way i have a long break between my classes so i decided to come home and chill till i have to go back to class. She was up to her front bumper in the grass and mud, so i hooked the tow strap up luckily she had a hitch on her van so i just hooked on to that threw it in 4 low backed up and out she came. She said she just called a tow service and they were going to charge her 150 bucks. she quickly called them and told her she did not need them. Just thought it would share.

How anyone can get a front wheel drive vehicle out of control and stuck is beyond me :).

Snowed this morning and I have no weight in the back of my truck.. It was an interesting drive to work this morning.

Did she give you anything? I know if someone saved me $150, I'd at least throw them a $20.

I service a fleet of vehicles that is made up of mostly minivans. The stuff you see is ridiculous. Anyone who drives any of the fleet vehicles has to take a course before they can drive them. Even then you see things like people turning the wipers on with 10 inches of snow on the windshield and breaking the drive mechanisms. people leaving food inside of them to mold, running out of gas, leaving lights on, driving long distances with a flat tire, etc. One today they drove in from about 20 miles away and complained that the vehicle had no heat, it was over 1.5 gallons low on coolant. Not to mention that the people who drive some of these vehicles should not be allowed to drive, period.
