mini spool/ausie locker

Im not sure if I am in the right section to ask this question but here it goes. Im really tired of the "one wheel peel" while playing in the mud. Ive been doing some research on lockers and ive narrowed it down to two which are the most cost effective for me which is either an aussie locker or a mini spool. My question with the mini spool is that i know i have to take the whole carrier out to install it, well i think, and if i do have to remove it does it mess up the ring gear or pinion in any way? And my question with the aussie locker is if it works like a posi trac while offroading where the wheel with the least resistance will spin or if both will still have power and the only time it unlocks and "ratchets" is while making a turn. Also which would you prefer?

Thanks for the time and help, trust me ive been looking everywhere for these answers but i cant get any clear answers, and besides i trust people on this website far more than anyone else on the internet.

If you are driving it on the street you won't like the spool too much.
