Well, mine and the bank's. Lease was up on my Sport Trac and I bought it yesterday since they're not making them any more.

I have always leased my trucks through my business, partly because I figured if gas got expensive and they weren't worth a hill of beans then it wasn't my problem. So just when gas goes up I buy my truck. Never said I was smart. :icon_twisted:

If I hit the Lotto....
The Dave Turner Motorsports Trac, yup it's nice. Has about a $10k suspension on it though. Not really much out there for Gen 2 Tracs, a spring spacer lift kit from Truxx and that's about it. I've had a Gibson exhaust and K&N filter on mine since it was practically new. Picked up 3 mpg with the exhaust.

Hey, then you'd just need a TRS sticker with that paint scheme!

I would drive naked in the desert if they would let me drive one of the racers.

LOL

Hmm, Sport Truck. I like.

I was wondering about this! The GF's 07' limited seem's very restricted....

Did you get the TSB for the new tune for transmission? Her's didn't have it and was having some funky tranny issues, like not totally unlocking, or staying locked when it shouldnt etc.

Yes, had to the dealer a while ago for that. On mine the main problem was the tranny taking it's sweet ol' time to shift into reverse. It's getting worse again lately. Since I'm keeping it I'm thinking of getting an SCT tuner. Besides the engine tune it can be programmed to make the tranny shift better. Costs $400 but with gas going the way it is, it might pay for itself. Dudes on the Sport Trac board like it.

That delayed reverse shift might be a physical trans issue. The case wears out around the one accumulator bore and causes delayed engagements. The program helped but if the issue was already starting it wasn't a permanent fix. The only real good option is to either have the bore sleeved or get a new case (if that is in fact what yours is doing).

i like the newer sport trac looks, id like to buy the wife one but a touch out of budget
