Military Mazda B4000 Bulls Build

sweet truck man. cops ever be on your ass about the tires sticking out?

the tires only stick out about MAX 3" THE law is 3" and the rear tires have no fender/mud flaps coving them... soo i prob will have some heat... but ill be putting mud flaps on it ASAP! no one bugged me yet on the 2h drive home i didnt see any Police but i passed a O.P.P that night he didn't look at me twice... drove off in the opposite direction

Must be nice. My Bronco has a major heat score around here... Any tire stickout is illegal, if they drop a penny off the fender edge and it hits tread, no dice. I've got a stickout of ~4"... :annoyed:

How is the truck working for ya?? What's next on the list?

im not sure what the law is around here ill have to check, cops better not be after my b2 lol

i think its illegal here to have any stickout but no one bothers with it. everything ive ever owned has had 2" minimum of tire sticking out

Just get some prerunner bedsides and fenders, or go the route i did.

i think ill keep it stock fenders for a while.. maybe make some extra fender flares.. idk yet.. Got some Warn Stock Flanges 2day! 4x4 works now! buddy of mine is giving me some 32" Tires with decent thread gonna go for a rip this weekend!

anyone know how to hookup my speedo to my new axles???

Install a manual 1354. Cut your speed/abs sensor wires close to the t-case on your wiring that runs along the frame and take the sensor from the old 8.8 and plug it into the t-case and wire it up. I did it and It finally started reading my mileage but it was showing 1.7 miles for about 17 miles traveled and it didnt read the speed. But im guessing it wasnt the reading speed because it was slower than what will show up on the speedo. I still have stock gears (3.54) and 37 inch tires. Plus I think the speed gear in the t-case needs replaced. If I ever get my 5.13s installed I will let you know what I find out.

Edit: If you have a sterling rear diff some of those came with the sensor on it and I think you can just plug your old sensor into your new axle.

Thx wohlf 16. plugged it in and Voila! 5km/h off but oh well.... it works!

got some heavy duty mud flaps 2day and zip tied them on till i figure a way to mount them permanently/removable.

Next on the list.. i think i need to reinstall my radio sucks driving around without sound!!!!

and i should start work on the new toy B3000.. still needs to get certified!

i did the same thing with mud flaps. Granted, they get torn off everytime i go wheeling, but i keep zip ties in the truck to just slap them back on. When you going to get bigger meats? Have you decided on what size youre going with?

not my boggers. the owner of Nickel4x4.

i have tractor tires i wanna put on but i cant seem to find someone to build the plate i need to mount them to the axles...

ill prob end up buying 35" Tires on Kijiji if and when that happens. this build is gonna slow down allot.. i have lots of finishing touches to do first... crazy front driveshaft vibrations... too... might need to cut out my cross member..

for the front shaft, I used my stock one. For you, you would have to put a new head on it as it is a 1310 u joint and i believe the 60 is 1410. The 93-94 have a CV style yoke at the transfer case, helps out a TON. I have no vibrations in the front. As far as the rear, with the lift and the bigger axles, the 2 piece rear shaft will not last. I went through 3 carrier bearings in a month. I recommend going with a 1 piece steel driveshaft (if yours doesn't already have it. I am pretty sure the 98 and up Rangers have them, but not sure about the Mazda)

Hope all that helps bud.

Just 35's with tons!? you better bring it up to 37 at least! I will be running 37's with 1/2 ton hybrids

thats what i was thinking but if kijiji is anything like it is around here your lucky to find 33s

got some mud terrain 265/75/16 from my buddy for free!! with 50%+ then took the truck threw a snow bank.. and got stuck... now im thinking its time to weld the front end solid....
