if im ever out around st. johns i wanna come in and see lol

Talkin to my boss's today, one wants his garage wired the other wants his basement wired. (im an electrician) so we are making a trade off, i'm gonna do the electrical work and they are going to supply the steel for my roll cage :) 2 weekends work for the tubing I need sounds like a good deal to me

Make sure they give you at least 1 3/4" 120 wall DOM for the trade off..:D

you guys know best, keep in mind this is not a race truck and wont be driven nearly as hard as you guys drive, how much tubing will I need for a decent but basic cage?

update: I started sandblasting the cab of the truck tonight, ill take pics when i get a good day at it.

i just read through all the posts tonight and you gave me goosebumps with all the pics. i'm looking forward to updates!:D

thanks, wont be too much longer and I will be posting more pics of different stuff. after the cab gets cleaned up i'll be doing a steering setup, mounting dual batteries in the rear, mounting a fuel cell, and starting some cage work.

that sounds awesome man but you might want to change the name of your thread. Doesn't sound to mild to me haha

well there are no coilovers, no linked rear, its only a 10 gal fuel cell, its not gonna be raced or driven overly hard so mild... right?

seems mild to me. You aint doin nothin like mine other than the v8 swap but thats pretty straight forward. I think it jsut one of those things where it looks like alot but really aint ya know. Plus i think they were meanin build wise not when its done as far as what it will be able to do

yeah its a hole lot of work to go from the ground up, alot of my build is getting rid of rust and preventing it from ever coming back, but the suspension is pretty mild, a cage and seats for safety, fuel cell cause I had it, and a v-8 swap which is not that un-common. When its done it wont look like a lot but it will be a good starting point to something special.

got some work done this morning before the rain came.
Hmmm whats this for?
