mild prerunner build

Hell maybe we could all meet up at Pismo Beach by Raceranger and paly in the dunes there. Ive been there twice and its perfect for our trucks plus its jsut cool as hell :headbang:. Oh and if someone gets stuck, dont worry, ill have the big bad chevy come pull us out :D.

THAT..sounds like one hell of a plan lol

FX2, i REALLY think you need to trailer that bad boy down here for a week or so when you finish her so we can all go out and break something. gonna be a long time before mine is ready to drive, and seeing how im on the east coast of Canada that would be a long ass drive there and back with a trailer on the back of the super duty (sucks gas) but it would be one hell of a trip. If I can afford it when the tuck is done I wont say no and It would be cool to actually meet you and Race. Guess I should start filling up the piggy bank for a west coast trip might have enough for the trip by the time the truck is done. But If im going accross 2 countries to drive in the sand we gotta go to Glamis.

Jon

haha completely understandable. We will definitley hit glamis up. hell maybe both or more! id be down to do a little travelin with ya by the time you can make it out.

Just picked up a set of headman hedders 2nd hand but never installed for 1/2 price. Dont know what it will take to make them fit a ranger but for the price I couldnt say no and I can always sell them for more than they cost me.

HERES THE BIG UPDATE, My family is getting bigger, I found out about 2 weeks ago that my girlfriend is with child. Very exciting, I have never been happier, So the truck is gonna take some extra time to build, but for now I bolted in my 8.8 axel and a set of spindles which I will be replacing with a threat motorsports 9" rear end and a set of newer 97 spindles. PICS TO COME SOON!

OK guys I had a pretty bad day yesterday, late lastnight My girlfriend miscarried, it was a rough night and today wasnt any better. So to put a smile on my face I ordered some advanced adapters and edelbrock parts so I can get the 5.0L between the frame rails,as for making me smile it didnt really do much but at least its progress.

I'm sorry to hear about that. I would suggest spining a good bit of time with her and make sure she understands that this is common and she is not the only one.

im really sorry to hear that. this is a common thing but its just upsetting when it happens to you. Like odie was sayin, spend lots of time with her and when you want some alone time you got the ranger there for ya

unfortinatly she deals with her problems in a different way and it is very hard to get close to her, she just wants time alone, but from experience I know its what works for her so I get out of her way and in a few days/weeks she will come around. spent a little time today rounding up parts to get the 5.0L in, but some of the parts are on backorder from one of my suppliers so it will take a few weeks to get everything together.

UPDATE: I have changed jobs in the last few weeks, so I had to get the truck home, bolted the cab on, loaded it on the trailer and towed it home where it will sit in my driveway until my garage is built. Not working in a garage anymore means I dont get the same discounts on parts but the new job pays more and there is a machine shop, and a welding shop, so the quality of fabrication should be better.
