Might get a 97 gen 3 ranger. any issues with this generation?

there is a ranger i have on hold at my yard and it appears to be in good mechanical shape it has the airbag light and CEL on but i think those were set off because of a fender bender on the front so it needs a new steering wheel front bumper and a driver side signal light. so my question is is there anything problematic about this year of ranger or the generation itself. its a 1997 4x4 extended cab manual ranger v6 motor unknown if 3.0 or 4.0

Edit: dont worry the 1st gen bronco II is staying. my diesel Mercedes is going to be going.

i have a 97 ext cab. 3.0 auto. I love the thing. It's got a couple issues, but those are all rust issues from being in central NY. Mechanically, they're like awesome cockroaches, they don't die.

since the steering wheels need replacing since it seems to wobble like hell would gen 4 wheel work? since 1997 was 1st year of airbag wheel from what i understand

it might. i assume if everything wires up, it should work
