Hi folks,
I had a 86 XLT for many years and received much help here while I owned it. Thank you! Somewhere along the line I finally realized that I was expecting (overloading it) too much from it and sold it. I now have a chance to buy a 2000 rust bucket just to have spare transportation.
But I can’t start it. Where can I find an EVTM so that I have a better chance of troubleshooting it? I’ve looked on eBay and one of those manual download sites but haven’t been able to locate one. Did they incorporate all those diagrams into a big shop manual that I’m looking over?
According to the “Theft” light the PATS should be letting it spin, but nothing…. All the accessories are getting power.

Again, thanks for any guidance and apologies if I missed this info in any of the help articles and forums.

I picked up the manuals that the mechanics at Ford dealers used from eBay for my '94. That was my first thought, but it seems you've already checked there.
