I am having trouble with a message center install in my 94 3.0 liter ranger. I wired up everything according to the write ups that were posted here but It doesn't work. I cannot get the fuel level to read properly. I checked the wiring to the message center and it reads within the resistance range (160-22 ohms).
I suppose i could have a defective message center since i did pull it from a junkyard. I am open to any suggestions, if anyone has done an install and could help me trouble shoot.
P.S.
I'm wondering if a tripminder might be the way to go since it is less complex. If anyone knows where I can buy one of those let me know, I haven't found any at the local junkyards or online.
