does anyone know if they made a 2wd mercury mountaineer? i had a offer on my mustang gt trade a 2wd mountaineer and $600 for it. don't know much about them thought they were all awd. just know they like the 95-up explorers. thanks

Just like Explorers, the 4x2's are rare up North but more common down South. Same except for name and trim.

Only the 5.0 was AWD. The 4.0 came as 4X4 or 2WD.
