My credo
Do your best to be your best.
Mercedes-AMG just broke our brains with the M139, a 416-hp 4-cylinder engine

“There used to be a time, not that long ago, when four-cylinder engines with turbochargers rarely made more than 250 horsepower. But those days are gone now, and just in case you need convincing, here's Mercedes-AMG's latest four-banger: the M139.

The S-version M139 is now officially the world's most powerful production four-cylinder 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine thanks to its mind-scrambling 416 hp.”

"There's a non-S version, too, which makes 382 hp" WOW for a 4 banger that serious power..

They're running it at 30.5ps and that is a ton of boost in the gasoline engine world. So that brings forth the obvious question...

WHO'S GONNA BE THE FIRST TO DROP ONE IN A RANGER? lol

GB :)

I'm a shameless Benz addict.

Anyone have a third gen 2wd stepside extended cab around? I'll gladly do this.

This is gonna be fun to watch.

I always wonder where the ecoboosts will be in 10 years... can they survive? They have minimal boost, a motor with 30lbs of boost has no hope of lasting 200k miles... I'd be impressed if they even warantee it for more than 15 minutes.

Oldest Ecoboost is already 8 years old, not really an unknown variable anymore.

That's not exactly a dinosaur... hell 2.9's are still driving around somehow.
