I am planning on redoing my dash with all mechanical gauges.

My Current dash:

This is what I would like to make it look like but with the diamond plate going over to the other side of the glove box:

I plan on painting the diamond plate black so it's not as reflective and maybe gauges in black with red lighting?
I would like to know what are some good inexpensive gauge options for the Speedo, Oil Press, Water Temp, Battery and Fuel?
Any recommendations on other gauges that may be helpful?
I am either going to cover up the radio slot or mount a CB there and will mount my switches for the roll bar lights and radiator fan if I put in an electric fan.
I will have to do some rewiring for the electrical system up front and would like to try and do it from the fuse box but do not know if that is feasible.
I still have to fix the wiring for my reverse lights and the passenger side tail-lights that don't work as well.

Any help or recommendations are appreciated.

Thanks,
Muerte

Come on guys i know some of you have advice on this subject?
I know you guys have done at least some of the gauges.
What worked, what didn't and what kind of hassles am I looking at when I do this?

That looks good.
What kind of gauges did you use?
Have you hooked them up yet and if so did you run into any trouble?
Any other advice when putting these things in?

Thanks,
Matt

We got the Equus ones and no we haven't hooked them all up yet (still no motor in the truck). The only thing we ran into was in the removal of the center part of the old gauge mount. We ended up taking to much out and not leaving enough to mount the new gauge plate to so be careful when you cut out the gauge section!

I like the look of the Equus gauges too.
Plan on something like the black and chrome and paint or powder coat the diamondplate black then swap the lights to red.
I will make sure to remove as little as possible.
Thanks and I will keep an eye on yours.
