Just kicking an idea around... I'm wondering if anyone on here would know how long it is from the front of the engine to the rear output on a 1989 BII? 2.9L/FM146/BW1350? That's what I have but I don't have a way to measure it without crawling under it and I don't want to at this time 
Also, what's the wms to wms on the front and rear axles. I've looked in the tech section and it shows that this year is narrower and that year is wider and yadda yadda yadda... It's all confusing to me... could just be that it's Monday..
