Welcome, 228k, thats why we love these trucks, time for a 302 swap and for you to start a build thread lol.

lol i also have a 87 Chevy s-10 that were putting a 350 in with a turbo 350 tranny, its for my wife, have completely boxed the frame, lowered 4 inches at all 4 corners, beltech drop spindles, yada yada yada. i'm replacing the 3.0l in my ranger with a 3.0l out of a 94 Taurus wagon. Think I blew a head or something, overheated, once i got towed home i replaced the water pump, thermostat, and upper and lower hoses, i went to fill up the radiator waters coming out where the lower hose goes into the block, any help would be great with in fact i blew the head. BTW the water leaks out with the car off. i told my wife im going to rebuild my ranger with a rebuilt 3.0l stroker and chew her s-10 up and spit it out.. lmao.oh and my stats, almost 41, 4 kids 3 boys 1 girl, a dog and cat, checkout my job, own and operate a AFO company, www.procustomlabs.com. back to yanking out the engine from the Taurus:) Nice to meet you all
