'Sup guys. I'm not necessarily new here, but I haven't really introduced myself, so I figured I would now that we have this thread (had no idea this existed).
My name is Cheyne (pronounced Shane), and I've been a Ford guy my whole life. I drive a 1988 Ford Ranger named Irene that I absolutely love. Despite all the shit she puts me through, she's the one thing that's always there for me when I need her. It may sound corny and/or stupid, but it's 100% true.
Here we are at the desert a few days ago with one of my bikes:
This truck was originally my Grandfather's, then my Father's whom I inherited it from. We've been together for almost 2 years now (haha... this gets weirder and weirder), and I have no plans of ever getting rid of her. What I ultimately want to do with this truck I am not completely sure of yet, but one thing is for certain: this Ranger will never die.
Also, I recently graduated out of Ford's "Accelerated Credential Training" program (FACT, for short), so technically speaking I'm a certified Ford Technician... however, I am not a master tech, and I still have a LOT to learn. Just a newbie here to Automotive technology, so I'm looking forward to learning everything I can from you guys, and helping out any way possible.
Anyways, enough bullshit. Thanks for those of you that have put up with this post long enough to finish it, and thanks for all the help you guys have given me concerning Irene. We both appreciate it, and look forward to more
